I was sitting at my desk when I noticed the couple from around the tree 🌳 hanging out on the branch outside my window, 🪟 looking as if they were waiting to speak to me. After we made eye contact, 👀 I stepped outside on the deck. Becky (grey squirrel) and Aye (leucistic grey squirrel) have been coming around more since the neighbors cut down their home. 🏡
Me: "Hi, it's good to see you two around here again. Were there enough nuts 🌰 left for you?"
Becky: "Yes, your trees have produced plenty. Thank you! We actually wanted to ask if you would-"
Aye: interrupting, "Please take our Copulation pictures" 🤰📸
Me: "Absolutely! When?" 🥳🎉
Becky: "Can we do it now?" 😳
Me: "Only if you can move quickly." Holding for a brief pause 🤔💭 while I took in the setting, "Aye, turn sideways, and Becky, you rest over him..."
Couple: adjusting and positioning, "Like this?" 🥴
Me: "Perfect. Now, don't move, I think I just saw a hawk." 🦅
